Nordic Expressions: The Phillips Collection

The art museum’s new exhibit, Nordic Impressions, will be on display from October 13, 2018 to January 12, 2018 and features a collection of Nordic art spanning 200 years from Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The exhibit celebrates prominent, cultural Nordic themes, such as women’s rights and social liberalism, folklore, and nature, from over 53 artists. Anastasia and The Nutcracker: Kennedy Center

Anastasia, a new musical based on the beloved film, runs through November 25th at the Kennedy Center. The show draws from the history of the Russian Empire and is sure to create an inspired day with its dazzling costumes, soundtrack, and musical talent.

Explore the museum’s historic grounds during the Heurich House’s annual Christkindlmarkt, November 30 – December 20. The event, inspired by traditional German Christmas markets, features an array of arts and craft from over 40 local makers and is Dupont Circle’s only holiday artisan market.

The Ritz Carlton Georgetown, The Yard

Starting November 24th, transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas at The Yard’s first Christmas Tree Farm. The pop-up farm will have a selection of trees, stocking stuffers, ornaments, and hot chocolate by the fire pits for all to enjoy. This lovely holiday event will be taking place every weekend from 10am to 6pm through December 16th.
